Russia doesn’t really have the power of the Soviet Union, they are a relatively small country, smaller in military strength than Iran for example and very much dependent on their old satellite states that are now independent nations. Not sure why people still care about them that much, Putin just makes himself look bigger than he is and the US for most of the time (under Obama and Biden) is simply letting him by taking down sanctions by their respective predecessors.

Biden allowing Nordstream 2 to go forward was basically the end for Ukraine as it bypasses their control on oil from Russia to Europe, Biden did it to please Germany that due to their own failed energy programs have become wholly dependent on Russia. Obama did the same when he said that Russia is no longer our Cold War enemy but instead was our friend, refused to help Ukraine and Russia simply invaded because he was afraid of another conflict.

Russia never changed, Putin is a result of the KGB, they lost their satellite states but for all intents and purposes they still have ambitions to restart an empire.

I already explained the lies surrounding the unvaccinated in hospitals.

Currently in the US approximately 10% of the hospitalizations are due to COVID, if 50% of these are unvaccinated, that would indicate in states like California and New York (where the majority of hospitalizations are) there would be more people in hospitals than there is population, as those states are nearing 97% vaccination and estimated 99% total immunity, especially amongst the vulnerable populations.

Unvaccinated simply means you did not comply with all of the government mandates on a timely basis. You could be vaccinated or have natural immunity and still be considered unvaccinated because your booster was more than 3 months ago.

From what I hear there are a lot more people that show up for the so-called letter writing and telephone witnessing parties than Saturday morning field circus. You pretend to make a few calls and write a few letters you’ll never put in the mail, eat cake and drink coffee while talking loudly with your group. It’s basically the new book study and it is causing more cohesion to the organization as a result.

They may have lucked themselves into the best situation to stop the bleed at least temporarily and become a more mainstream accepted religion, they’ve long been de-emphasizing the craziest parts (blood, 1914, Armageddon) and becoming a boring regular Christian religion.

COVID gives them a good excuse to get rid of many of the extremist Rutherfordian and Franzian practices, including the vaccination policy they are promoting which now gives them a chance to pivot to a more mainstream view on abortion, blood and other medical practices. COVID vaccination production, had it happened ca 1980, if you read the blood brochure and other medical instructions until the early 2000s, would have been considered a violation of all sorts of biblical interpretations of theirs, I clearly remember the elders giving us a list of approved and non-approved vaccines because they used humane or animal blood or aborted fetus in their production, it even listed why we rejected a particular medicine, but the current COVID vaccines all did one or more of those things and they’re just ignoring that fact.

Yep, we have several. I don’t even live in a big city. I think every WalMart is 24/7, with self-checkout I don’t even think they have employees working at night, maybe 1 cashier?

Back to the subject at hand, the Nazis in Australia arrested Djokovic again, after a court had already said he fulfilled all the requirements. Djokovic basically got an exemption from the shot because he has natural immunity, the Australians then rescinded that exemption after he had already landed to make a point, a court reinstated the exemption which was reviewed by 2 panels, one from the government and one independent both said he had natural immunity and could not spread the virus, and the Australian government simply ignored the court ruling and arrested him again today.

If you Aussies don’t stand up against that kind of overreach, basically the government has said the courts no longer apply and there is no check on the tyrannical administrative state.

@RiverGang: statistics can indeed lie, the term fully vaccinated has a rather fluid definition, it applies only to people who got all 3 or 4 shots in the last few months. If you get, 1-2 shots or you got your booster 6 months ago, you are no longer considered vaccinated.

So you can’t compare the numbers in regards people that received a vaccine in the last 2 years (80-90% of people) with the “unvaccinated hospitalized” definition because those are two different sets of people. In the US at least, the CDC admitted that 50% of the people considered hospitalized for COVID are actually there for different primary reasons, I’m sure other countries have similar measurement issues. According to Kaiser-Permanente, one of the largest medical systems in California, the omicron and delta variant had people hospital stays reduced from 2 weeks to 3 days, indicating the majority of cases aren’t severe enough to even require a stay in the hospital (such as parents rushing to the ER when their kid has a cough). Only 1 person in their system seems to have died “from omicron” instead of “with omicron”, none required a ventilator.

Due to the Biden admin approval rating dipping below that of Donald Trump at his worst, they are quickly adjusting all their messages and measurements here in the US to make them look better. The CDC and Fauci are now changing messaging on everything from stats to vacc to mask to lockdown. One could say, it will definitely be more according to what many doctors in the Great Barrington Declaration wrote would actually be more scientific. Whether other countries will follow is another question, people in Australia would have to stand up to their tyrannical governments the way the US has been threatening with 40% of the population now favoring armed insurrection.

If we believe the stats, all the unvaccinated would have died or been hospitalized several times over already, especially since the vaccination rates amongst the vulnerable are much higher than the average in the population.

the prime minister attended this party for 25 minutes but his excuse yesterday at pmqs was that he thought it was a work event.

as excuses go, this one is right up there with 'the dog ate my homework', lol.. boris johnson must resign - if you force harsh rules on people but break those same rules yourself, it's surely game over.. his private secretary should go, too..

that is pretty early given the 12 billion year age of the universe assigned by scholars who adhere to naturalism.

@Sea Breeze: Let's assume your theory is correct - the creator created a Universe where the visible part alone is 94 BILLION light years large, in 24 hours. Since information cannot travel faster than the speed of light, this is called proof by contradiction that your theory cannot be correct.

Your theory was proven incorrect right about the original discovery that galaxies and stars were further away than our own solar system, which is really Renaissance-era science at this point, combined with the discoveries of the Planck, Maxwell and Einstein equations.

@joey: we have perfectly well treatments with both corticosteroids and chloroquine to suppress cytokine storms. Once the problem was identified, during the Trump administration, many hospitals started supplying those to patients with a severe reduction in death.

During the Delta variant however, the emphasis was shifted to vaccination, and CDC even went as far as banning those treatments, as a result many more people in the US died to Delta last summer in comparison with other nations, even though we had in most cases higher vaccination rates. The White House has simply been holding back a variety of treatments, including much better treatments that have 100% success rates (remdesivir (another thing Trump was mocked for), and monoclonal antibodies) because “equity issues”. Ron DeSantis even said he wanted to pay for them directly and the CDC blocked the company from selling monoclonal antibodies because apparently it wouldn’t be guaranteed to be distributed to a sufficient ratio of black people. So they’re literally sitting on a shelf, waiting until a black person comes along to get used before they can be given to a white or Asian person.

Compare our stats with Sweden or even South Africa, they did the Trump and Florida approach - protect the elderly, let natural immunity kick in, with less than 50% vaccination rates and only access to cheap treatments, South Africa has much higher success rates both with Delta and Omicron than the US under Biden.

Now the CDC is backtracking on vaccinations, even Fauci is saying they’re overrated and natural immunity is better than vaccines. I even hear Brian Steltzer (NBC) say that CDC got it wrong and is becoming a laughing stock. The WHO director said a few days ago that 2 shots is pointless and 3 shots is “perhaps 50% effective” against death but not against hospitalization or sickness.

Only just now is someone developing a ‘classic’ vaccine (same process as say a polio vaccine) which will be available without expensive Fauci-owned patents, that has been proven to be 70% effective without any side effects they notice in control groups with the ‘bioengineered’ vaccines.
